Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq’s social media message has gone viral, only one day after a scandal emerged over team owner Sanjiv Goenka’s furious interaction with skipper KL Rahul.

The cameras showed Goenka having a heated argument with Rahul after LSG suffered a 10-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad, and the incident drew widespread criticism from both fans online and experts.

Naveen shared a photo of himself and KL Rahul wearing Lucknow Super Giants jerseys, along with a ‘love’ emoji. While there was no obvious connection to the entire scenario, many fans online assumed that the message was a sign of support for KL Rahul in the incident.

Earlier, Indian cricket team fast bowler Mohammed Shami commented on the situation, saying that such behavior by an IPL franchise owner sends a ‘poor message’.

“Crowds of people are watching and learning from you. If these things happen in front of cameras and you see such emotions on film, it’s embarrassing,” Shami stated on ‘Cricbuzz Live’.

“Aapka ek dayra hona chahiye baat karne ka; yeh message bahut galat jaata hai. (You should set boundaries; there is a way to communicate. This sends a bad message.

Shami further stated that the interaction may have occurred in the dressing room rather than in public.

“It’s crucial to stress that players respect each other, and you, as an owner, are also respectful. “It’s not that you’re speaking suddenly,” Shami explained.

“If you have to do that, there are several options. You might have done the same thing in the locker room or at the hotel. It was unnecessary to do it on the field. Shami responded, “You did not hoist a flag on Red Fort by doing what you did.”
