Pakistan Cricket Team Player, Azam Khan, was viciously roasted by supporters following his dismal performance against England in the fourth T20I on Thursday. The 25-year-old was despatched for a duck after only five deliveries, and he also missed a handful of simple chances while fielding. Azam has struggled to perform well in recent matches, and his bad run leading up to the T20 World Cup 2024 has sparked widespread resentment among supporters. Azam is the son of former Pakistan captain Moin Khan, and his selection for the World Cup was fiercely debated by fans.
England, the reigning champions, produced a magnificent all-round performance to defeat Pakistan by seven wickets at The Oval on Thursday in their final competitive match before defending their Twenty20 World Cup title.
After winning the toss, England restricted Pakistan to 157 runs, with leg-spinner Adil Rashid getting 2-27 from his four overs.
They then made a quick start to their chase, with Phil Salt (45) and captain Jos Buttler (39) sharing a scorching opening stand of 82 in seven overs.
Harry Brook closed the game with a six off paceman Haris Rauf, Pakistan’s top scorer with 3-38, as England finished on 158-6 to win with more than three overs remaining.
Victory handed England a 2-0 lead in a four-match T20 series in which games at Headingley and Cardiff were called off due to inclement weather.
