Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya took the internet by storm with a stunning ‘no-look’ boundary during the first T20I against Bangladesh in Gwalior on Sunday. Pandya, who top-scored for India with an unbeaten 39 off just 16 balls, made quick work of the 128-run target. He showcased his aggressive batting style by hitting three consecutive fours off Taskin Ahmed, including a remarkable no-look shot over the wicket-keeper’s head. Pandya didn’t react after the shot, and the video has since gone viral on social media.
India secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first T20I of the three-match series, bowling Bangladesh out for 127 and chasing down the target with 49 balls to spare.
Pandya shared his excitement on social media, thanking Gwalior fans for their support.
India’s bowlers were also key, with Varun Chakravarthy (3/31), Mayank Yadav (1/21), and Washington Sundar (1/12) taking crucial wickets. Hardik contributed with a wicket as well.
With the bat, Pandya’s quick-fire 39 not out and contributions from Sanju Samson and captain Suryakumar Yadav, both scoring 29, sealed the win for India.
